National brand manager for 26 business units (8,000 staff) across England and Wales.  Work with directors, senior staff and project teams to implement effective communications and use of corporate identity.

Management development specialist and training manager
2002 to 2004, Land Registry Wales Office

Internal consultant trainer on management skills and staff development. Provided or developed training on team-working, leadership, staff appraisal and development, workflow planning, personal effectiveness, presentation and communication skills. Developed and led a team of in-house trainers, managing their induction and skills development. Organised and managed major in-house training programmes and courses.

Highlights: Developed and supervised a two-day organisational development workshop for 350 staff including lawyers   //   Provided content to core management skills modules used nationally by Land Registry   //   Co-wrote guidance on training evaluation practice for Land Registry’s national team of 26 senior training managers // Supervised NVQ Management (levels 3 and 4)   //   Facilitator for team training on business planning and workflow management

1996 to 2002, Land Registry Wales Office

Business planning, production management and oversight of a technical staff of up to 15 team members. Interpreted complex information as an examiner of title and casework supervisor. Provided expert customer service through correspondence, telephone enquiries and services to solicitors, and other property professionals.

Corporate trainer and tutor
1993 to 1996, Land Registry Wales and Swansea Offices

Designed and delivered broad ranging legal casework and IT based courses, providing coaching and evaluation of participants.

Highlights: Developed training and courseware for new IT systems dealing with property registration and ownership.

Corporate training and communications specialist with significant experience working for the UK government in Land Registry, one of its highest performing departmental agencies. Most recently working as a senior executive in marketing and communication but with prior roles as internal consultant and a management trainer.

Experienced in working with directors, senior managers and operational staff, combining skills in internal and external communications with an ability to inspire business development and improve organisational performance.

Currently undertaking postgraduate research with the University of Leeds into how brand and corporate identity contributes value to public sector organisations.
